Why is this role open? Due to growth, the current Accounting Lead role is being split into two dedicated positions—one focused on Accounts Payable and one on Accounts Receivable—to improve efficiency, specialization, and team support

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Lead orAccounts Receivable Lead to oversee daily operations and support a high-volume accounting environment. This role requires a hands-on leader with proven experience managing a small team and driving accuracy, efficiency, and process improvement.

Key Requirements (Must-Have)
  • 2+ years of experience leading a team of 4–5 employees (required)
  • Background in Accounts Payable OR Accounts Receivable
  • Ability to manage high-volume transactions in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong Excel, QuickBooks Online, and ERP system experience
What You’ll Do
  • Reconcile and post cash receipts across multiple systems
  • Research invoices, payments, and billing discrepancies
  • Process lien waivers and manage customer portals (including Supply Pro)
  • Resolve unapplied cash, overpayments, refunds, and duplicate payments
  • Act as escalation point for complex billing inquiries and disputes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and improve workflows
  • Support system implementations as an SME (A/R impact)
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies
