AP/CP General Surgical Pathologist

Overview

We are seeking a Board-Certified Anatomic & Clinical Pathologist to join a well-established pathology practice serving a large regional healthcare system in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative team providing high-quality diagnostic services across a broad range of Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.

The ideal candidate will have experience in breast pathology, general surgical pathology, and frozen sections while working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology (AP/CP)
• Minimum of two years of practice experience preferred
• Fellowship training or subspecialty expertise preferred
• Strong proficiency in:
  • Breast Pathology
  • General Surgical Pathology
  • Clinical pathology interpretations
  • Frozen section procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Active Texas Medical License or eligibility to obtain one

Practice Highlights

• Join a team of three full-time pathologists with PRN support for coverage
• Approximately 7,000 surgical pathology cases annually at the primary practice location
• Additional affiliated case volume from a neighboring hospital
• Average workload of approximately 13 cases per day
• Frozen section coverage shared across multiple practice locations, with centralized case sign-out
