We are seeking an AP/CP General Surgical Pathologist open to a leadership role in South Florida. The Opportunity

• Lead a high-volume regional laboratory operation with more than 300 employees, supporting a broad network of hospitals and emergency care facilities.
• Play a key role in strategic initiatives focused on expanding advanced molecular testing capabilities, supporting the future of precision medicine and targeted therapies.
• Join a nationally recognized pathology team of more than 200 board-certified multispecialty pathologists providing expert professional services across a large healthcare network.
• Champion innovation within the pathology service line, including digital pathology implementation and ongoing quality-driven, evidence-based care initiatives.
• Responsibilities include general surgical pathology sign-out and comprehensive oversight of histology and clinical laboratory operations.

Qualified Candidates

OPEN TO J1 VISA CANDIDATES
Will entertain fellows w/Molecular Fellowship that can start in 2027

Required:

• AP/CP Board Certification
• Medical Director experience in a hospital-based setting preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• Commitment to advancing digital pathology and laboratory innovation

Preferred:

• Fellowship or subspecialty training
• Florida medical license or FCVS profile in place
