AP/CP General Surgical Pathologist

Location: McAllen, TX

Overview

We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Anatomic & Clinical Pathologist to join a well-established pathology practice serving a large regional healthcare system in South Texas. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative team providing high-quality diagnostic services across a broad spectrum of Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in general surgical pathology, frozen sections, and clinical pathology while working closely with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to deliver exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology (AP/CP)
  • Strong proficiency in:
    • General Surgical Pathology
    • Clinical pathology interpretations
    • Frozen section procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, laboratory professionals, and hospital staff
  • Active Texas Medical License or eligibility to obtain one
