Job DescriptionMy client is an established alcohol distributor supplying a broad portfolio of wine, spirits, and beer to retail and hospitality customers. They partner closely with suppliers and clients to ensure efficient distribution, compliance, and strong market coverage.Job ResponsibilitiesOversee timely, accurate invoice payments and vendor communicationsManage reconciliations, payments, and dispute resolutionMonitor cash flow trends and maintain clean financial recordsImprove payment forecasting, controls, and team accountabilityLead and develop a team of 3, including hiring and performance managementProvide technical guidance and support complex issue resolutionReview team work for accuracy and efficiencyReport key risks, trends, and cash flow insights to leadershipManage vendor data, credit reviews, and internal loan activityAnalyze KPIs and deliver actionable performance feedbackEnsure US GAAP compliance and proper invoice codingMaintain financial records and documentation standardsDevelop SOPs and training materials for AP/AROversee 1099 filings, month-end close, and audit supportSupport ad hoc finance and operational projectsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
