Job Details

We are looking for an AP Lead to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable and will be responsible for overseeing the entire accounts payable process, from invoice receipt to payment.

Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage the entire accounts payable process, including invoice receipt, payment processing, and record keeping
2. Regularly review and reconcile vendor statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies
3. Process and handle check runs efficiently and accurately, ensuring all payments are made on time and in accordance with company policies
4. Identify, investigate, and resolve payment discrepancies, working closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely resolution
5. Maintain and update vendor files and records, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date
6. Assist with month-end closing procedures and generate reports as needed


Qualifications:
1. 7+ years of experience in an accounts payable role
2. Experience training AP specialists
3. Proficiency in handling check runs and resolving payment discrepancies
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with vendors and internal teams
