Responsibilities of the AP/Payroll Specialist:

• 
  
• Assist with payroll processing for 500+ employees
• 
  
• Support day-to-day accounts payable functions, including invoice processing and payments
• 
  
• Perform bank, credit card, and general account reconciliations
• 
  
• Assist with general accounting responsibilities as needed
• 
  
• Support special projects and provide additional assistance to the accounting team
• 
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• 
  
• Previous accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting experience
• 
  
• Payroll processing experience preferred
• 
  
• Intermediate Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and filters
• 
  
• Hands-on, team-oriented attitude with the flexibility to step in and assist wherever needed
• 
  
• Ability to work fully onsite in the Greater Hartford area
• 
  

Salary: $47,000–$60,000
