The focus here is very much on high-volume accounts payable operations, so candidates must have strong experience managing large invoice volumes and keeping things moving efficiently and accurately. The Supervisor will oversee the full AP cycle, including ensuring timely month-end close, handling escalations, supporting audits, and maintaining strong controls and compliance across processes.

From a leadership standpoint, this person will manage a team of up to 5 and be responsible for coaching, reviewing workload distribution, and driving overall team performance. They’ll also act as the go-to subject matter expert for AP; partnering with internal teams and leadership, resolving issues, and identifying opportunities to improve workflows and efficiency.

There’s a strong process improvement component here as well; someone who can analyze current procedures, streamline operations, and implement best practices will stand out. The role will also be involved in ad hoc reporting, operational meetings, and cross-functional communication.

Ideal candidates will have a solid AP background (ideally 5+ years or a degree with relevant experience), prior supervisory experience, and exposure to ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar. Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment are critical.
