APAR Supervisor

Kforce is partnering with a client in the Onalaska, WI area to identify an AP/AR Supervisor.

Summary: This position will oversee the day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate financial transactions and supporting the timely reporting of revenue, expenses, and cost activity. The role will also focus on enhancing processes, improving internal controls, and contributing to month-end and year-end close activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader to help drive operational efficiency and support ongoing growth and transformation initiatives.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support AP/AR team members, ensuring accurate and timely financial processing and efficient daily operations
• Oversee receivables, collections, payment application, and related credit and cash management activities
• Ensure accurate recording of cash, sales, and transactional financial data on a recurring basis
• Manage key external vendor and purchasing relationships
• Review and oversee corporate spending, expense programs, and related approvals
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls
• Support system and process enhancements, including ERP and procure-to-pay initiatives, to improve scalability and control
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules as needed
• Assist with financial reporting requirements, including select disclosures for internal and external reporting
