Job Title: Apartment Leasing Agent
Location: Barnegat & Waretown, NJ

Type: Contract To Permanent
Compensation: $20.00/hr.

Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM | Monday-Friday

Apartment Leasing Agent Responsibilities:

• Help show units to prospective tenants, assisting with rental payments, late notices, and processing work orders.
• Answer incoming phone calls, provide housing information, and route calls appropriately.
• Greet visitors, prospective tenants, and current residents, providing excellent customer service.
• Provide potential and current residents with accurate information about available rental units.
• Post basic information on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
• File property-related paperwork and organize office supplies.
• Partner with the maintenance team on work orders for residents.
• Maintain and update the waitlist, send letters, and ensure property is presentable by touring daily.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply!
• Previous leasing experience is a plus.
• At least two years of related experience preferred.
• Outgoing, friendly attitude with strong interpersonal, sales, and customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
