Job Description

Reynolds is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia and serves Virginias capital city and five nearby counties. Annually, our four campus sites serve approximately 13,000 credit students and provide training for 7,400 students through the Community College Workforce Alliance.

The Apartment Maintenance Adjunct Instructor is responsible for training, mentoring, and developing current and aspiring apartment maintenance professionals. This role delivers hands-on and classroom instruction covering core multifamily maintenance skills, safety standards, troubleshooting, and best practices. The instructor ensures learners gain practical job-ready knowledge while promoting professionalism, compliance, and high standards of property care.

This position may also assist with curriculum development, assessments, and ongoing program improvement to meet industry and organizational needs.

Part-time adjunct teaching faculty-ranked appointment

Minimum Qualifications

Two (2) years of related occupational experience.

Additional Considerations

• Knowledge of instructional technology applications, such as the Canvas learning management system. • Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with diverse student populations.
