Providence Real Estate is currently seeking an Apartment Maintenance Service Technician to join our team at 2211 Grand Isle Apartments in Brandon, FL. This full-time position is ideal for a skilled maintenance professional who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys maintaining a well-run residential community. 2211 Grand Isle is a 390-unit community, so this role offers plenty of variety and the chance to make a real impact on the day-to-day resident experience.This role supports the day-to-day maintenance operations of the property, helping ensure residents enjoy a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained living environment. The technician will respond to service requests, assist with apartment turns, and perform a variety of repairs throughout the community. Our goal is to provide a stable workplace where experienced maintenance professionals can build a reliable and rewarding career.What You'll DoDiagnose and complete HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance repairsPrepare apartments for move-in (make-readies) to company standardsComplete service requests efficiently and document work order logs accuratelyMaintain curb appeal, common areas, and preventative maintenance schedules across the 390-unit communityFollow EPA refrigerant reporting and log requirementsParticipate in a rotating on-call schedule for maintenance emergenciesCommunicate professionally with residents and the onsite teamIn this role, your work helps maintain the overall quality and reputation of the community. Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to timely service will contribute directly to resident satisfaction and the smooth operation of the property.ScheduleMonday–FridayOccasional Saturdays and eveningsRotating on-call dutiesRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent2–3 years of apartment or residential maintenance experienceHVAC Certification Level II and Level III requiredProven troubleshooting and repair skills across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repairAbility to lift/carry up to 100 lbs occasionally, climb stairs, and work in varying weather conditionsAbility to work independently and responsibly, and meet deadlinesReliable transportation requiredCandidates should be dependable, organized, and comfortable handling a variety of maintenance tasks within a large, active residential property environment.About Providence Real EstateProvidence Real Estate is committed to maintaining high-quality apartment communities and building strong teams that take pride in their work.
