BG Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to join a dynamic multifamily housing community. If you are a skilled maintenance professional who takes pride in quality work, enjoys solving problems, and can hit the ground running, we want to hear from you!

This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable technician with prior apartment maintenance experience who is looking for a steady Monday through Friday schedule and a team-oriented work environment.

Position Overview

As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the property's appearance, functionality, and overall resident satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a variety of maintenance tasks, completing work orders efficiently, and assisting with apartment make-readies and unit turns.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and work orders in a timely manner
• Perform general maintenance and repair tasks throughout the community
• Troubleshoot and complete basic plumbing repairs
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues
• Perform appliance diagnostics and repairs
• Complete carpentry, drywall, painting, and general upkeep projects
• Assist with apartment turns and make-ready preparation
• Ensure vacant units are move-in ready according to company standards
• Maintain property grounds and common areas as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance experience required
• Strong knowledge of general maintenance functions and repair techniques
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, and carpentry
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Reliable transportation
• Must possess and maintain your own tools
• Professional attitude with excellent customer service skills

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Weekly pay available
