Position Overview

As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, functionality, and safety of the property. You'll work closely with the property management team to complete work orders, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure resident satisfaction through prompt and quality service.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Perform general apartment maintenance and repairs
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues
• Prepare vacant units for new residents, including make-ready and turn services
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections throughout the community
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
• Assist with emergency maintenance situations when necessary
• Maintain accurate records of completed work and materials used

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, or related experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, and appliance repair
• Ability to diagnose maintenance issues and complete repairs efficiently
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• HVAC certification is a plus but not required
