Penmac Staffing is currently seeking applicants for a qualified candidate for a Facility Maintenance role to fill an opening with an employer located in Fort Smith, AR. The ideal candidates should have a stable work history that demonstrates reliability. In lieu of work history, will consider vocational/ technical high school and college courses and military service
Requirements of the Facility Maintenance
Knowledge of standard practices, methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in building and grounds maintenance.
Ability to use tools and equipment necessary to perform the maintenance and repair tasks as outlined
above
Ability to lift or handle a variety of appliances and items including refrigerators, sinks, countertops, fan
motors, ranges, and refrigerators using appliance hand trucks.
Ability to operate a variety of power and hand tools used in the carpentry, electrical, and plumbing
trades.
Good Attendance and punctuality is a must
Willing to submit to a Background check/drug test

Responsibilities of the Facility Maintenance
Repairs or replaces plumbing fixtures and pipes such as toilets, sinks, drains, valves, and controls,
unclogs clogged fixtures and pipes using a variety of powered and non-powered sewer machines and
augers.
Trouble-shoots and repairs or replaces electrical systems and components including switches,
outlets, lighting fixtures, circuit breakers, fuses, electrical wiring, etc.
Trouble-shoots and repairs or replaces refrigerators including replacing fans, compressors,
evaporator coils, controls, door handles, gaskets, etc.
Uses a wide range of hand tools and equipment such as drills, hammers, pliers, screw drivers,
electrical testers, hand and power saws, cutters, plungers, threaders, wire brushes, paint rollers and
brushes, sprayers, etc.
