BG Staffing is currently seeking a dependable and experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to join a multifamily housing community in Haverhill, Massachusetts (01830). This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated maintenance professional who takes pride in their work, has strong troubleshooting skills, and can work independently while providing excellent service to residents and property staff.

We are looking for a candidate who is fluent in English and has prior maintenance experience. Candidates with plumbing experience and/or experience operating a Bobcat or similar equipment are highly preferred.

Schedule

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Tuesday, Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• 30-Minute Lunch Break
• Consistent weekday schedule with no overnight shifts

Pay

• $24.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Perform general apartment maintenance and repairs
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, and HVAC-related issues as needed
• Assist with apartment turns and make-ready projects
• Maintain property grounds, common areas, and building systems
• Operate maintenance equipment and tools safely
• Assist with exterior property upkeep and other maintenance projects
• Follow all company and property safety procedures
• Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and management staff

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred
• Strong general maintenance and repair skills
• Plumbing experience highly preferred
• Experience operating a Bobcat or similar machinery is a plus
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Fluent English communication skills required
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull maintenance equipment and materials as needed

Required Work Attire

Maintenance staff must report to work in:

• Steel-Toed Boots
• Utility Work Pants
• Appropriate professional maintenance workwear
