Position Overview

BG Staffing is actively seeking a skilled and dependable Apartment Maintenance Technician to join a community in McCordsville, Indiana. This is a full-time opportunity for a motivated professional who takes pride in maintaining high-quality living environments and delivering excellent service to residents.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, responsive, and capable of handling a variety of maintenance needs while contributing to the overall upkeep and appearance of the property.

Schedule & Availability

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• On-call availability required daily

Key Responsibilities

As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the property operates efficiently and remains a comfortable place to live. Responsibilities include:

• Performing routine and preventative maintenance on apartment homes and community systems

• Completing service requests in a timely and professional manner

• Troubleshooting and repairing issues related to:

• HVAC systems

• Plumbing fixtures and leaks

• Electrical components

• Appliances

• Preparing vacant units for new residents (turns/make-readies)

• Maintaining the overall appearance and safety of the property

• Responding promptly to on-call maintenance requests and emergencies

• Assisting with general upkeep and site maintenance as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in apartment maintenance or a related field preferred
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repair
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Reliable transportation and a commitment to punctuality
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to after-hours needs
