Apartment Property Manager

Duties:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the apartment complex, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
• Oversee leasing activities, including marketing vacant units, conducting tours, and screening potential tenants.
• Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure prompt resolution of maintenance issues and repairs.
• Enforce lease agreements and ensure compliance with property rules and regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of tenant information, rent payments, and maintenance requests using property management software (Yardi, OneSite, etc.).
• Prepare and distribute notices to tenants regarding lease renewals, rent increases, or other relevant information.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial reports for the property.

Experience:

• Previous experience in property management or a related field is REQUIRED.
• Strong knowledge of property management principles and practices.
• Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi or OneSite.
• Excellent customer relationship management skills with the ability to effectively communicate with tenants and address their needs.
• Knowledge of facilities management and basic property maintenance procedures.
• Proficient in administrative tasks such as record keeping, report generation, and lease agreement enforcement.
• Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations pertaining to rental properties.
