    Description

    Position Summary:

    You will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks in residential apartment communities. This role ensures the property is well-maintained, functional, and provides a safe and comfortable living environment for residents.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Respond promptly to maintenance service requests, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and carpentry repairs
    • Perform routine preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, and systems
    • Prepare apartments for new residents by completing unit turns, including painting, drywall repair, fixture installation, and general maintenance
    • Assist with emergency maintenance requests, including after-hours on-call rotation as needed
    • Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems to identify issues and recommend solutions
    • Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition
    • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
    • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
    • Communicate effectively with residents, team members, and management

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED
    • Ability to read and write in English
    • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
    • A proactive and energetic approach to work
    • Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair
    • Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
    • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
    • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, work in various weather conditions, and climb ladders or stairs
