Description

We have an opening for a Regional Sales Manager to grow sales, in Colorado and Utah, in a manner that protects and strengthens APCO reputation in the sign industry for excellence in product and service. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Establish APCO as the premier source for architectural signing and displays in the territory. Territory: Colorado and Utah.Pursue new sources of business. Build relationships with clients and customers.Build long-term relationships with all who influence buying decisions: End Users, Designers, Architects, Facility Managers, Property Managers, General Contractors and select Sign Companies. Be the liaison between End users and the Sales Support Team at APCO. Present APCO's AIA Continuing Education Classes to designers and architects in the territory that work in our markets (higher ed, government, healthcare, corporate, etc.)Make Product Presentations in conjunction with AIA CEU's and whenever requested or accepted. Development and presentation of sales proposals, budgets, samples, etc.Provide timely Sales Projection Reports, Call Reports and Expense Reports.Build relationships with major influencers in the territory.Respond to customer complaints and help resolve problems.Make periodic visits to factory to gain knowledge of new products and procedures.Any additional duties that may be required to reach objective.Necessary Skills and Training:Sales Talent, Energy and Ability Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft OfficeGood organizational skillsValid Driver's License and Excellent Driving RecordAbility to handle multiple ongoing projects.Ability to read and interpret customer supplied documents for pricing and sample specification purposes.Sign Industry Knowledge or ability to learn quickly.Physical RequirementsDesk Height: undeterminedDesk Width: undeterminedChair Height: adjustableLifting and carrying: Maximum 30 lbs.Manual dexterity / finger movements: keyboard skills, telephoneSitting:TBD, Standing:TBD, Walking:TBD, Stair Climbing:TBD, Driving:TBDDisclaimers:This job description does not create an employment contract.
