Job Description:
We are seeking an API Architect with expertise in Generative AI to drive innovation and scalability in a leading banking institution. The ideal candidate will design and implement high-performance, secure, and scalable API solutions, integrating GenAI models into the bank's digital ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and develop API strategies, governance, and best practices.
  • Design and optimize RESTful & GraphQL APIs for banking applications.
  • Integrate GenAI models (LLMs, NLP, ML frameworks) into APIs for automation and enhanced customer experiences.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and performance across API ecosystems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Cloud, Data, DevOps, and Security).
  • Drive adoption of API management platforms and API monetization strategies.
  • Lead PoCs and innovation initiatives around AI-driven APIs.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience in API architecture & development.
  • Strong expertise in REST, GraphQL, OpenAPI, and API Gateway technologies (Apigee, Kong, Mulesoft, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with GenAI frameworks (OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js for API development.
  • Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, SSO, and API security best practices.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to banking/financial services domain is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Vector Databases, RAG techniques, and AI model fine-tuning.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps, and API monitoring tools.
  • Understanding of banking regulations (PCI-DSS, GDPR, etc.).
