    Description

    Software Engineer - Microservices & Real-time Systems (Java/Spring Boot/AWS)

    The Role

    We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a key role in developing and maintaining our solutions deployed on GCP. This role will be responsible for the design, development, deployment, and integration of real-time systems using Java, Spring Boot, and other modern technologies.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
    • Implement and integrate with Google cloud services for infrastructure, scalability, and performance optimization.
    • Experience in deploying services using CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Develop and maintain well-documented REST APIs for seamless communication between microservices and external systems.
    • Experience integrating with mobile applications and other third-party APIs.
    • Participate in the design and development of real-time systems for efficient data processing and responsiveness.
    • Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, QA, product) to ensure project success.
    • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code adhering to best practices.
    • Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing within the team.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the software development landscape.
    • Familiarity with message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
    • Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL or NoSQL databases like MongoDB.

    Qualifications:

    • 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on backend development.
    • Proven experience with Java, Spring Boot, Database, and microservices architecture.
    • In-depth knowledge of GCP services (e.g., GKE, Spanner, CRF) and experience with deployment strategies.
    • Experience with REST APIs and API design principles.
    • Experience integrating with mobile applications and/or third-party APIs a plus.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage real-time systems.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

    Compensation, Benefits and Duration

    Minimum Compensation: USD 48,000

    Maximum Compensation: USD 168,000

    Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.

    Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.

    This position is available for independent contractors
