Position Summary

ECS is seeking an API Engineer - Journeyman to support the Army National Guard (ARNG) ENOCS program by developing and maintaining robust application programming interfaces (APIs) that facilitate secure and efficient system integration. The selected candidate will play a critical role in ensuring seamless data exchange and interoperability between enterprise systems, contributing to the overall mission success by implementing cutting-edge DevSecOps practices and continuous monitoring solutions.

Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain APIs to support internal and external system integration.
  • Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms to ensure secure data exchange.
  • Integrate logging and monitoring capabilities consistent with DevSecOps requirements.
  • Collaborate with application developers, database administrators, and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable API services.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of interface specifications.
  • Ensure API integrations align with enterprise architecture standards and cybersecurity policies.
  • Support integration testing within Agile or DevSecOps development environments.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of API development processes and practices.
