Job Summary

Seeking an experienced API Gateway / Kong Engineer with strong expertise in Python, Java, and API Management technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Kong API Gateway and API migration activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8–10 years of experience
• Strong experience in:
  • Python
  • Java
  • API Management & Microservices
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Kong API Gateway
  • API Gateway technologies
• Experience with:
  • API integrations
  • Microservices architecture
• Kong migration experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of:
  • API security
  • API lifecycle management
  • Distributed systems

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage APIs using Kong API Gateway
• Support API gateway migration and modernization initiatives
• Develop and integrate APIs using Python and Java
• Work with microservices-based architectures
• Ensure API security, scalability, and performance
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams
