Design, develop, and maintain RESTful and/or SOAP APIs for internal and external integrations. • Lead end-to-end API integration projects with third-party vendors, partners, and internal platforms. • Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions. • Develop and manage API contracts, specifications (OpenAPI/Swagger), and documentation. • Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, API Keys). • Handle data transformations, mappings, and orchestration across systems. • Monitor API performance, reliability, and scalability; troubleshoot integration issues. • Enforce API best practices including versioning, error handling, throttling, and logging. • Collaborate with product managers, architects, DevOps, and QA teams. • Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews. • Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and regulatory standards.
