API Tester

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
" Proficiency in REST API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
" Familiarity with programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for test script development.
" Kafka knowledge
" Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (e.g., Karate)
" Exposure to Database: Oracle

Roles & Responsibilities
" Test Planning and Design: Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for APIs, covering functional, performance, security, and reliability aspects.
" Test Execution: Execute manual and automated API tests using various tools and frameworks.
" Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects found during testing, collaborating with development teams for resolution.
" Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to understand API specifications and ensure test coverage.
" Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for APIs to improve efficiency and regression testing capabilities.
" Reporting: Analyze test results and provide clear, concise reports on API quality and performance.
" Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical abilities to identify and diagnose API issues.
" Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with teams and documenting findings
