Job Description
The Assistant Project Manager will:
- Support Project Managers in planning, executing, and closing construction projects.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and internal project teams.
- Track project schedules, budgets, procurement activities, and key milestones.
- Assist with contract administration, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
- Monitor project costs and help maintain budget compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate project updates to clients, stakeholders, and field personnel.
- Review project reports and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Facilitate coordination between construction teams and specialty trade partners.
- Assist with quality control efforts and support resolution of project challenges.
- Help manage complex renovations, corporate interiors, secure facilities, and building improvement projects.
- Support project closeout activities, including punch list management and turnover documentation.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient project environment.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:
- Experience supporting commercial construction projects in a project engineering, coordinator, or assistant project management capacity.
- Understanding of construction project management processes and documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
- Proficiency with project management and construction documentation tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with field and office teams.
