The Automated Pouching Operations Line Mechanic/Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting pouching machines to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. This role involves performing routine maintenance, addressing mechanical issues, and ensuring safety and quality standards compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor pouching machines to ensure optimal performance and product quality
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on pouching machines to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operation
• Identify and resolve mechanical issues promptly to minimize production interruptions
• Monitor the production process to ensure products meet quality specifications. Conduct periodic checks and implement corrective actions as necessary
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, machine performance, maintenance tasks, and quality control data
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations. Promote a safe working environment
• Work closely with other departments, such as quality control and maintenance, to ensure smooth production processes

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, particularly in pouching operations
• Strong mechanical skills and the ability to perform routine maintenance tasks
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good computer skills to use the Manufacturing Reporting System
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and handle materials throughout the shift
