Physician Assistant - Surgery Cardiothoracic
Job Details:
- Work 4 days per month with 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM shifts plus call coverage from 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Manage 10-15 CVICU/step down patients daily plus 1-2 surgeries
- Provide care for adult/geriatric patient population in CT Surgery department
- Perform special procedures including temporary pacemaker removal, chest tube removal, IABP removal, and A-line placement
- Work with Cerner EMR system in 199-bed hospital setting
- Minimum 3 years cardiothoracic surgery experience with EVH proficiency required
- Board certification as PA required with Arizona licensure
- DEA registration and ACLS/BLS certification required
- Must be graduate from NCCPA-approved university program or have Master's Degree in Nursing
- NCCPA certification or certification eligibility required
