Opportunity:

Physician Assistant - Surgery Cardiothoracic

Job Details:

• Support staff includes a dedicated office PA and two registered nurses
• 
  
• Department focus is Advanced Heart Failure
• 
  
• Inpatient volume ranges from 15 to 25 patients with a caseload of 5 to 8 CABG cases per week and 4 to 6 robotic thoracic/chest cases
• 
  
• Serves adult patient population
• 
  
• EMR system is EPIC and experience is required
• 
  
• Endoscopic vein harvesting experience and first assist capability are required
• 
  
• Provider will work closely with a strong advanced heart failure team with occasional LVAD and Impella placements
• 
  
• Additional cases include open and TAVR valve procedures performed each week
• 
  
• Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery required
• 
  
• Active North Carolina state license required
• 
  
• Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies required
• 
  
• DEA required
• 
  
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
