Opportunity:

Physician Assistant (PA) - Surgery - Cardiothoracic

Job Details:

• Provide first assisting services for CABG, AVR, MVR, and thoracotomy/lung resection cases
• 
  
• Perform OR duties as well as telemetry and ICU responsibilities
• 
  
• Handle call duties including 1-2 call days per week
• 
  
• Cover one weekend per month from 7 AM Friday to 7 AM Monday
• 
  
• Complete weekend duties including inpatient rounds, procedures, and surgery
• 
  
• Perform surgical procedures including vein harvest and chest tube placement
• 
  
• Work in inpatient and operating room settings
• 
  
• Utilize Epic EMR system
• 
  
• Must be board certified and hold Kentucky state license or IMLC
• 
  
• Required certifications include ACLS, DEA, and BLS
• 
  
• Clean malpractice history preferred
• 
  
• 90-110 day credentialing timeframe required
