Physician Assistant (PA) - Surgery - Cardiothoracic
Job Details:
- Provide first assisting services for CABG, AVR, MVR, and thoracotomy/lung resection cases
- Perform OR duties as well as telemetry and ICU responsibilities
- Handle call duties including 1-2 call days per week
- Cover one weekend per month from 7 AM Friday to 7 AM Monday
- Complete weekend duties including inpatient rounds, procedures, and surgery
- Perform surgical procedures including vein harvest and chest tube placement
- Work in inpatient and operating room settings
- Utilize Epic EMR system
- Must be board certified and hold Kentucky state license or IMLC
- Required certifications include ACLS, DEA, and BLS
- Clean malpractice history preferred
- 90-110 day credentialing timeframe required
