Advanced Practice - Physician Assistant - Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery, Nurse Practitioner - Cardiovascular Surgery

Job Details:

• Immediate need for 2 board-certified APRN/PA-C Pediatric and Adult Congenital Cardiac Surgery APPs
• 
  
• Minimum of three years of post-training work experience with pediatric cardiac surgery patient care is required
• 
  
• RNFA certification is required for APRN
• 
  
• Work alongside Pediatric and Adult Congenital Cardiac Surgeons both in and out of the operating room
• 
  
• Experience caring for pediatric cardiac patients in a variety of settings, including ICU, is required
• 
  
• Serve as a patient advocate, acting as liaison between patients and physicians
• 
  
• Schedule includes eight-hour shifts Monday through Friday
• 
  
• Call responsibilities include approximately 15 days per month including weekends
• 
  
• ACLS and PALS certifications are required
• 
  
• Board certification is required
• 
  
• Fellowship training required
• 
  
• Facility is a Level 2 Trauma Center with a Level 2 Pediatric designation
