Job Details:
- Night shift coverage from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Non-ICU work focused on general cardiology floor coverage
- Round daily on all floor level of care patients admitted to or seen in consultation on the general cardiology service line
- Write daily progress notes, event notes, admission H&Ps, new consult notes, and discharge documentation
- Order medications, testing, and procedures when indicated
- Patients consist mostly of step down and cardiology unit patients
- Perform new consults with attending physician
- Practice EMR is Cerner
- Support staff includes Hospitalist Medicine and Cardiology supporting all patients, with Pulmonary Critical Care and CV Surgery providing support as needed
- Must have active NC License and active NC DEA to be considered
