Opportunity:

Advanced Practice - Cardiology

Job Details:

• 12-hour day shifts, 7 days per week, primarily covering days
• 
  
• Round daily on all floor level of care patients admitted to or seen in consultation on the general cardiology service line
• 
  
• Write daily progress notes, event notes, admission H&Ps, new consult notes, and discharge documentation
• 
  
• Order medications, testing, and procedures when indicated
• 
  
• Primarily cover step-down and cardiology unit patients
• 
  
• Perform procedures in the ICU when indicated, including arterial line placement, central line placement, and cardioversion
• 
  
• Perform new consults with attending MD
• 
  
• Support staff includes Hospitalist Medicine and Cardiology supporting all patients, with Pulmonary Critical Care and CV Surgery available as needed
• 
  
• Practice EMR is Cerner
• 
  
• Active NC License and active NC DEA required to be considered
