Physician - Cardiology

Job Details:

• Provide general cardiology coverage for a Cardiovascular Institute seeing 18 24 patients per day
• 
  
• Schedule includes weekday coverage Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break
• 
  
• Weekend coverage available: Friday 5:30 PM through Monday 7:00 AM
• 
  
• Ongoing coverage needed across multiple date ranges through the end of the year
• 
  
• Overtime available after scheduled shift hours
• 
  
• Patient population is primarily age 60 and older
• 
  
• Will perform cardiac catheterization for own patients
• 
  
• Support staff includes Medical Assistants, Patient Care Technicians, Nurses, and Physician Assistant support in-house
• 
  
• EMR system: Cerner
• 
  
• Practice setting: Hospital/Clinic
• 
  
• Board Certification in Cardiology required
• 
  
• Active Arizona license or IMLC Letter of Qualification required
• 
  
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• 
  
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• 
  
• Strong interpersonal and relational skills with staff and patients preferred
