Job Details:

• Inpatient cardiology coverage needed for two leave of absence periods

• Local and out-of-state candidates accepted

• Weekend-only coverage positions available
• 
  
• Critical Care experience may be required for full-time placement
• 
  
• Acute Care Certification is not required
• 
  
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of cardiology experience as an APP
• 
  
• 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday plus weekends
• 
  
• Greatest need is for 10-hour day shifts on weekends
• 
  
• 1:1 APP to MD ratio with full support staff on weekdays and weekends
• 
  
• Floor/stepdown: 8-12 patients per day; CCU: 4-6 patients per day
• 
  
• Adult patient population
• 
  
• EMR: Epic; charting must be completed by end of day
• 
  
• 128-bed hospital
• 
  
• General cardiology rounding required; critical care coverage only if experienced
• 
  
• Advanced Heart Failure experience preferred but not required
• 
  
• Board Certification required; DEA required
• 
  
• APRN or NCCPA certification required

The hospital features a dedicated cardiovascular advanced practice provider team and supports a collaborative, 1:1 APP-to-physician model. With a 128-bed capacity and access to both general cardiology and critical care services, the facility provides a comprehensive and well-supported environment for locum providers.
