APP - Critical Care

Opportunity:

Advanced Practice (PA) - Nurse Practitioner - Critical Care/Intensive Care, Physician Assistant - Critical Care/Intensive Care

Job Details:

• Experienced critical care board-certified APP required with experience in a critical care cardiac ICU unit
• 
  
• Specific management experience required including VA & VV ECMO, Impella, LVAD, and cardiac transplant
• 
  
• Position consists of three 13-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM - 8:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 8:00 AM)
• 
  
• Shifts include nights, weekends, and holidays
• 
  
• Primarily manage HVI CCU patients under the guidance of an Intensivist
• 
  
• Responsibilities include daily rounding, patient management, order entry, admissions, and post-operative management
• 
  
• Procedures include arterial lines, central lines, Swan-Ganz catheter, and IABP removal
• 
  
• Patient encounters per shift: 8-12
• 
  
• Board certification required
• 
  
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• 
  
• Level 1 trauma facility
• 
  
• No guaranteed hours; overtime requires approval from Practice Administration
