Opportunity:

Nurse Practitioner - Critical Care

Job Details:

• Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant position covering night shifts and weekend/weekday warrior shifts
• 
  
• Shift schedule: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM (nights) or 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM (days)
• 
  
• No call responsibilities
• 
  
• Patient volume of 10-17 patients per shift
• 
  
• High acuity cases including Arterial Lines, Central Lines, consults, and Codes (no intubations performed at night)
• 
  
• Solo coverage at night with resident support from the Emergency Room available Sunday through Thursday nights during November through June
• 
  
• Open ICU environment with Virtual ICU hardwired into the 4th floor
• 
  
• EMR system: EPIC
• 
  
• Minimum commitment of 5-7 shifts per month required
• 
  
• Board Certification required; Acute Care certification required for Nurse Practitioners
• 
  
• Active ACLS, BLS, and active DEA required
• 
  
• Active state license required (no licensure candidates accepted)
