Physician Assistant - Electrophysiology
Job Details:
- Full-time position requiring 40 hours per week
- Schedule runs Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM with flexibility
- Work within the Intervention/Electrophysiology department
- See approximately 18 patients per day with a patient population ranging from ages 18 to 100
- Support staff includes one assigned clinical team
- EMR system used is EPIC
- Hospital bed size is 270
- Special procedures that may be observed postoperatively include Interventional Cardiology (Right/Left Heart Catheterization, PCI, Balloon Angioplasty, Balloon Pump) and Electrophysiology (Pacemaker Implant, ICD Implant including traditional and sub-Q, Loop Recorder Implant and/or Explant, and Ablations including AVN, SVT, and AFL Flutter)
- Practice settings include academic/training, clinic/private practice, and hospital environments
- Board certification as an NP or PA required
- Active DEA required
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Skills required include Cardiology, Interventional, and Electrophysiology experience
