Opportunity:

Nurse Practitioner - Surgery - General

Job Details:

• Provide general surgery coverage at hospital setting
• 
  
• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM onsite
• 
  
• Coverage period from June 30, 2026 through December 31, 2026
• 
  
• See approximately 15-20 patients per day
• 
  
• Handle adult general surgical cases and trauma cases
• 
  
• Perform central line insertion, chest tube insertion, and vascular access device procedures
• 
  
• Provide inpatient trauma call coverage overnight with trauma surgeons available on call from home
• 
  
• Work with Cerner electronic health record system
• 
  
• Weekend coverage required
• 
  
• Must have ACLS and ATLS certifications
• 
  
• Must be certified as Nurse Practitioner and hold active Michigan license
• 
  
• Must be local candidate with DEA registration
