Nurse Practitioner - Surgery - General
Job Details:
- Provide general surgery coverage at hospital setting
- Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM onsite
- Coverage period from June 30, 2026 through December 31, 2026
- See approximately 15-20 patients per day
- Handle adult general surgical cases and trauma cases
- Perform central line insertion, chest tube insertion, and vascular access device procedures
- Provide inpatient trauma call coverage overnight with trauma surgeons available on call from home
- Work with Cerner electronic health record system
- Weekend coverage required
- Must have ACLS and ATLS certifications
- Must be certified as Nurse Practitioner and hold active Michigan license
- Must be local candidate with DEA registration
