Job Details:
- Inpatient clinic coverage for Trauma Surgery Advanced Practice Clinicians
- Shifts available September, October, and November with possible December need
- Shift times are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM depending on open shift - must be available for either
- Minimum 7 to 14 shifts required with 12 guaranteed hours per day
- Candidates must be verified and comfortable performing pediatric surgeries as required for the assignment
- Facility is a Level 3 Pediatric Trauma Center - locum must be comfortable consulting on pediatric cases
- Pediatric case load involves consulting on or being involved with fewer than 20 cases per month
- May also be involved in hepatic-pancreato-biliary (HMP) procedures or endoscopic appendectomies
- Approximately 20 patient encounters per shift
- Active license or IMLC required; DEA required; Board Certification required
- ACLS and ATLS certifications required
- Level 2 Trauma facility
