Job Details:

• Inpatient clinic coverage for Trauma Surgery Advanced Practice Clinicians
• 
  
• Shifts available September, October, and November with possible December need
• 
  
• Shift times are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM depending on open shift - must be available for either
• 
  
• Minimum 7 to 14 shifts required with 12 guaranteed hours per day
• 
  
• Candidates must be verified and comfortable performing pediatric surgeries as required for the assignment
• 
  
• Facility is a Level 3 Pediatric Trauma Center - locum must be comfortable consulting on pediatric cases
• 
  
• Pediatric case load involves consulting on or being involved with fewer than 20 cases per month
• 
  
• May also be involved in hepatic-pancreato-biliary (HMP) procedures or endoscopic appendectomies
• 
  
• Approximately 20 patient encounters per shift
• 
  
• Active license or IMLC required; DEA required; Board Certification required
• 
  
• ACLS and ATLS certifications required
• 
  
• Level 2 Trauma facility
