Opportunity:
NP;PA - Trauma Surgery
Job Details:
- Provide inpatient coverage for Trauma and Emergency General Surgery service at Level 2 Trauma Center
- Work a mix of day shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) and night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) Monday through Sunday with no call
- Estimated 8-10 shifts per month with minimum 4 shifts per month required
- Conduct morning rounds followed by OR first assisting with robotics cases
- See new Emergency General Surgery consults and manage inpatient service
- Evaluate and manage trauma activations and provide critical care management
- Perform bedside procedures including central line placement, chest tube placement, incision & drainage, laceration repairs, and wound debridement
- Work alongside 2 APPs during day shifts and 1 APP during night shifts in tandem with Trauma/Acute Care Surgeons
- Robotics training required
- Trauma experience required
