NP;PA - Trauma Surgery

Job Details:

• Holiday coverage needed with a mix of day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) and night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) for inpatient coverage Monday through Sunday with no call required
• 
  
• Coverage dates include December 23-27 and January 1
• 
  
• Inpatient coverage for Trauma and Emergency General Surgery service at a Level 2 Trauma Center
• 
  
• Responsibilities include AM rounds, OR first assisting with robotics cases, seeing new EGS consults, managing inpatient service, trauma activations, and critical care management
• 
  
• Two APPs staffed during day shifts and one APP at night, working in tandem with Trauma/Acute Care Surgeons
• 
  
• Procedures include central line placement, chest tube placement, incision & drainage, laceration repairs, and wound debridement
• 
  
• Robotics training required
• 
  
• Trauma experience required

The facility supports a robust Trauma and Emergency General Surgery service with advanced robotic surgical capabilities and a dedicated team of APPs and Trauma/Acute Care Surgeons working collaboratively to deliver high-quality patient care.
