    Were seeking a passionate and driven Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our Gynecologic Oncology team in Grand Rapids and Muskegon, Michigan. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

    Opportunity Details

    • Position Type: 1.0 FTE
    • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-4:30
    • Location: Lacks Cancer Center
    • Specialty: Gynecologic Oncology
    • Hospital Info: Trinity Health Grand Rapids with possible future support for Muskegon area
    • Team Size: Current team consists of 2 physicians, 1 APP, 3 RNs, and a MA
    • Call Requirements: Call will be required
    • Additional information: This role offers a diverse practice that includes outpatient clinic visits, treatment planning and management, inpatient and postoperative rounding, and participation in surgical procedures as needed. A strong commitment to education is essential, as this position includes working closely with and helping to teach resident physicians. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered cancer care and enjoys collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.

    Requirements

    • Experience preferred
      • Previous experience in OB/GYN, Oncology or surgical specialties is strongly preferred
    • Board certified prior to employment
    • Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
    • DEA license

    Duties & Responsibilities

    A typical day may include:

    • Providing direct patient care
    • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
    • Participating in teaching and mentoring
    • Documenting in Epic EMR
    • Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
    • Supporting community health efforts
