Physician Assistant - Hematology/Oncology
Job Details:
- Full-time Hematology/Oncology Advanced Practice Provider position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Open to both Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA)
- Outpatient-focused oncology practice with inpatient collaboration as needed
- Manage patients with solid tumors and hematologic malignancies across all age groups
- See approximately 11-16 patients per day
- Work closely with hematologists/oncologists, infusion teams, nurse navigators, and support services
- Treat patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and oncology supportive therapies
- Access to clinical trials through MMCORC and NCI-supported research programs
- Multidisciplinary care team onsite including oncology nurse navigator, clinic RNs, LPNs, infusion nursing team, oncology social worker, dietitian, mental health support, and financial navigator
- Palliative care and genetic counseling available via telehealth support
- Radiology department onsite including PET, MRI, and CT imaging; laboratory department onsite
- Infusion center includes open infusion chairs, private treatment rooms, and fast track triage rooms
- Epic EMR required
- Minnesota state license required; board certification as PA or APP required
- Part-time availability of 2-3 shifts per month, Monday through Friday
