Physician - Hospitalist

Job Details:

• APP position covering hospitalist medicine with blocks of 3-5 days, typical week-on week-off schedule
• 
  
• Primarily night shift coverage with some day shift coverage available
• 
  
• No call required
• 
  
• Round on approximately 10-12 patients per day
• 
  
• Daily census of approximately 25-35 patients with roughly 10 daily admissions
• 
  
• Approximately 2 consults per day
• 
  
• Patient population is primarily elderly with low to medium acuity cases
• 
  
• No trauma, ICU rounding, procedures, or vent management required
• 
  
• Well-staffed support team available
• 
  
• Hospitalist medicine experience preferred
• 
  
• Florida state license and Florida DEA required
