Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our QA team as an App Lifecycle Testing Associate. In this role, you'll be responsible for evaluating app functionality and user experience at various stages of its development lifecycle, from early builds to pre-release versions, ensuring continuous quality improvement and identifying issues before they reach production.
Responsibilities:
- Execute detailed testing scenarios across different development phases (e.g., alpha, beta, release candidates).
- Document bugs, performance issues, and user experience pain points as the app evolves.
- Collaborate closely with development and product teams to provide timely feedback and ensure issues are addressed promptly.
- Perform comprehensive regression testing to ensure new features don't break existing functionality.
- Submit comprehensive daily or weekly reports on app status and quality throughout the lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Comfort with working tools and familiarity with version control and issue tracking systems.
- Prior experience in software QA, app testing, or a related field focusing on continuous integration/delivery is preferred.
- Reliable internet connection and access to relevant mobile and/or desktop devices.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing software builds and prioritize testing efforts.
