    Description

    Opportunity:

    Advanced Practice (NP) - Physician Assistant - Neonatology, Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology


    Job Details:

    • Level IV, 56-bed NICU with very high acuity patients

    • APPs work in collaboration with MDs and oversee daily care of patients as providers

    • Night and weekend shifts needed; weekday evening/night shifts run 4:00 PM to 8:00 AM and weekend evening/night shifts run 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

    • 24-hour shifts can be accommodated any day of the week

    • During evenings, nights, and weekends, 2-3 APPs may be on shift simultaneously

    • Ground and air transport capability required; transport orientation includes two one-hour online training courses and a 45-minute in-person training session

    • Must have proficiency with PICC lines, UVC lines, UAC lines, chest tubes, lumbar punctures, and intubations

    • Approximately 10 patient encounters per shift

    • BLS and PALS certifications required

    • Board certification required; minimum certification level is Certified

    • Fellowship required

    • IMLC accepted

    • Trauma Level I facility with Pediatric Level I designation
