Advanced Practice (NP) - Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology, Physician Assistant - Neonatology
Job Details:
- Neonatal NP position covering 12 or 24-hour shifts
- No call coverage required as full shifts are in-house
- Flight transport may be required on an infrequent basis, approximately 1-2 times per year
- Ground transport is also required
- Level III NICU experience required
- Facility accepts patients at 23+ weeks gestation, depending on parental wishes regarding resuscitation under 24 weeks
- Expected procedures include intubation, chest tubes, umbilical lines, PICC lines, arterial sticks, and IV insertion assistance
- Approximately 10 patient encounters per shift
- 16-bed department
- Pennsylvania licensure preferred
- Board certification required (minimum board certification eligible)
- BLS certification required
- Open to locum-to-perm candidates as well as as-needed coverage
