Were seeking a passionate and driven Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our regional Neonatal Intensive Care team in Muskegon and Grand Rapids, Michigan. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Opportunity Details

• Position Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)

• Schedule:1820 hours (83 scheduled shifts or equivalent) annually
  • 68 25-hour shifts to cover both Grand Rapids NICU & Muskegon Special Care Unit.
  • 15 8-hour shifts are scheduled Monday-Friday for Grand Rapids NICU providing direct and indirect patient care.

• Location: Grand Rapids and Muskegon, Michigan
• Specialty: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with neonatology fellowship training
• Hospital Info: Grand Rapids: 15-bed NICU Level III, Muskegon: 8-bed Level II Special Care Nursery
• Call Requirements: No Call Required for APPs

Requirements

• Relevant clinical experience preferred
• Board certified prior to employment
• Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA license

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

• Providing direct patient care
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Participating in teaching and mentoring
• Documenting in Epic EMR
• Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
• Supporting community health efforts
